Detectives on Saturday announced the arrests of two more men sought in connection with the November shooting of a prominent builder's sister inside the family's shoe repair shop.
The arrests came nearly two months after Juliana Catalfumo was shot in the head in an apparent robbery attempt at Danny's Shoe Repair, 4203 Lake Ave.oil painting
Police had arrested one man -- Alicks Fils Saintil, 21 -- shortly after the attempted robbery and shooting, but were still searching for another robbery suspect and a man suspected of driving the getaway car.

Detective Ed Thomas said he believes the arrests of Peterson Charles, 23, of Lake Worth, and Marvin Jean Michel, 20, of Miami, solve the case. Thomas also believes the group was responsible for similar crimes.oil painting oil painting
"I'm confident that these are the three," Thomas said, later adding, "All three collaborated on the effort."

Thomas said detectives were able to make the arrests through tips shared with the West Palm Beach Police Department and the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office tactical unit.
Thomas said he questioned Charles last week after he made an appearance in court on other charges. Records show he was booked into the Palm Beach County Jail on Friday.
The second suspect, Michel, was arrested in Palm Beach County on Saturday morning, Thomas said.

Catalfumo was released from the hospital a day after the shooting and eventually returned to work. Thomas said he personally informed her of the arrests.
"She was happy, shocked," he said, adding that she planned to attend the men's arraignments this morning.
